Proper Plant Nutrition – Simplified!

2014-10-04
duration: 10am-11am
business: Rockledge Gardens
category: Education

October 1st is the beginning of the legal fertilizing season for Brevard County. This seminar will arm you with the information to do it well. The days of adding fertilizer, Epsom salts, and more fertilizer every year are over. We now know that over-fertilizing can cause some nutrients to become pollutants; plus, high levels of any nutrient will tie up other nutrients which can lead to nutritional deficiencies in your plants. Join Sally Scalera from the US/IFAS Brevard County Extension Service to learn how to supply only the nutrients that your plants need, to reduce or eliminate insect and disease problems from improper fertilization, and possibly save money and the lagoon—all at the same time!
