About being a woman in her industry: “I would like to think nobody cares, but this is the security business and I think certainly sometimes people look at me – I’m five feet tall and weigh about 100 pounds – and think, ‘You run a security company?’ But I’m completely trained and certified, and I can take care of myself.”
Advice to others who might follow in her footsteps: “Stay true to yourself. I see a lot of people doing what they’re told to do instead of standing up and doing the right thing.”
