Wayne Bresette to Guest Conduct
The Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra will perform on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 3:30 pm at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Upper School, 5625 Holy Trinity Drive, Melbourne 32940. The family-friendly concert is appropriate for all ages and will feature Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9, Hansel and Gretel by Humperdinck and Marche Slav by Tchaikovsky. The Symphony Orchestra will be led by guest conductor Wayne Bresette. The Instrumental Music Director at Viera High School, Mr. Bresette is one of three conductors auditioning this year for the position of BSYO Artistic Director. Concert tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students/seniors and may be purchased at the door the day of the performance.
