Now in its 27th Season, the non-profit BSYO offers talented string, wind, brass and percussion students an opportunity to study orchestral repertoire with peers of equal talent under the direction of a professional conductor. Student musicians play in one of the three orchestras: Symphony (advanced), Concert (intermediate) or String Ensemble (beginning). The BSYO is comprised of 150 talented young musicians ranging in age from seven to 18 years old, representing 60 public, private and home schools.
